| Heart of Ice, Pt: 3 | | This is one of my posts from my newest rpg forum " The Dragon Wars ". My character is Wynsteria, better known as Wyn. There are three posts involved in this thread, and the post done by Eclipse, is my friend that I'm role playing with. I'm posting his part of the thread, with his premission, so that my two posts combined make more sense to those of you reading. You can find a link to the forum at the bottom of this post. I had decided I was going to have a rag doll cat as I am fairly immobile due to illness and they apparently are like me. Pick a spot where they are happy and comfortable and stay there.Obviously the arrival of the birds has put paid to that plan. I love the little horrors to pieces, but it has occurred to me that I always get my pets in this way. Someone else doesn't want a critter, it ends up living here. Does this happen to you? | |

| | How To Make A Rag Doll | | I love the wonderful example that the pioneers set for us. They proved that one did not need money to live a happy life. They proved that making homemade toys can keep our kids happy and entertained for hours. The homemade toys tend to encourage creative thinking and imagination. These skills are necessary in todays world as much as they were in the pioneer time. I am concerned that we are teaching our children that money is the way to be happy and storebought toys are the best. I tend to disagree with this. I love the old homemade toys like the

and the rag doll. These toys teach many skills to children like how to love, by holding the toys in parental ways. They teach, how to communicate by talking to the toys like they were real. They teach other needed skills.
Another great toy that is so cute and so easy to make is the rag doll. You can make the doll and then make many different clothes for it. Kids just love them and they look great on a bed.

| | Does your cat have a strange habit or special talent? | | my cat uses me as a cushion. Nothing unusual there but he will just lie there like a big rag doll until I whistle, then he will try his hardest to get right up close to my face.
I dont know if he is trying to find out where the noise is coming from but it is ridiculously funny to watch.
He even does it if someone else is doing the whistling.

| | how is being a twig attractive?? | | Everyone at one point in time has looked at a person and thought WOW i wish i had you figure or your hair etc. but it's all getting out of hand. i recently took a trip to london to see family and whilst on the train i filled my time reading glossy magazines, full of impossibly thin girls wearing garments a rag doll couldn't squeeze into.
These women (and sometimes men) shrug the fact that they have an obvious eating disorder and they can always say they've been this thin forever or they have a fast metabolism untill their tongue drops of (yay another couple of pound gone!).i had a friend who suffered form anorexia for about 6 months she was admitted to a eating disorder clinic last year and thankfully made a full recovery but whilst she was in there; when i went to see her i saw the people who she spent her time with even more painfully thin girls with bones for figure. one girl would sit on her bed for hours doing nothing but flick through magazines picking out skiknny models and looking physically sick, as if she wanted to rip her own organs out just to lose a feww more inches; for some people they think that death is a worthy price to pay... | |
| | Is your cat aggressive? | | Is your cat aggressive with you? does it often try to bite or scratch you? because mine does... and i don't know whether it is because of the breed or not as i heard that the Birmanian (or Ragdoll) breed as well as the Siamese are kind of aggressive even with the owners.
i always wanted a cute and lazy cat to have near me all the time but it seems he's unstopable... although he's already 4 years old (he's gonna turn 4 tomorrow:D)and we have gelded him this summer, he still acts like crazy... | |
| | AoE Maps | | I've been playing age of empires since the year it came out and the sequals after. Each one having it's own special fun such as the cow catapults:D in the first, the massive medieval army w/ amazing strategy in the 2nd and the extremely good mass hordes w/ details and RAG DOLL in the 3rd, they all share in having the best thing out of all RTS, extremely amazing map making process. Which one do you prefer for making maps and why? Are there any good sites to download new maps from for all 3? I'm still one to play all 3 of the AoEs. Are there sites where you can upload maps and download others like a gigantic map sharing site? | |
