| I lost my umbrella again! Absent-minded or careless! | | Absentminded or careless...whatever! I felt bad because I lost my umbrella again. It's not because of the umbrella alone but more because of the the fact that I did it again and again and again! This is not the first time it happened to me. I can't count anymore the number of umbrellas I have lost in my life. I don't know if I really am absent minded or careless! I think both! Not only umbrellas, I have also lost a lot of hankies and hand-fans as well. Have you been losing things and never learning like me? What are the things you always lose? | Do you like carrying UMBRELLA with you? | | I really don't like carrying UMBRELLA with me.. One of the reason is if there is no raining still we have to carry it.. and some time there might be a chances to lost our umbrella because if there is no raining we can keep it at some place and then can forgot to take it from that place.Why you guys like/ don't like carrying UMBRELLA? | |
| | What do you think about gasebos | | Do you like gasebos? Personally I have never cared for them. I do like to sit outside but I like the table/umbrella
table to sit at which we do have. How much do you think you would pay for a gasebo? I wouldn't pay a dime but that's just me. My husband has always liked a gasebo. We saw one at a building supply store in town and I would be ashamed to have it in the yard. Ugly. That thing is priced at nearly 4,000.00. My husband wanted to build one in the back yard. Although I know he's not a bad carpenter I hate a gasebo but he lives here too and that's part of sharing a home and yard so he started scrounging around finding this board and that 2x4. He didn't even have a table saw. He made the thing all by scratch and all hand done, the only thing that is new is the cedar shingles and I bought him brass plates for the electrical switches. He has lights in it. I then planted flowers and he hung them. He figures it cost him his time and about 400.00. I think he did a fabulous job of it and it does look a whole lot better than the one at the store. What do you think about it? Thank You for your comments. | |

| Do you always carry an umbrella while going out? | | I have seen mainly older people do so very often they take with them an umbrella when they go out. i generally do not take unless its raining or it is too hot. Do you take an umbrella so often?

Because i use to prefer the small one, which is comfortable to kept at my handbag, which is in the folding type, and also when its opened, it will cover as full, it become good to use..Which is your choice..? | |

| Lets just improvise shall we? | | It has been said that necessity is the mother of invention. I think that improvising is a form of invention, at least in some cases anyway. I am sure that at some point we all improvise in some way. There have been times when I would be fishing and wanted an extra fishing pole, so I would use a limber limb from a nearby tree. I also improvise by using the bag I get groceries in as trash bags in the bathroom or automobile. So tell me, what are some of the ways that you have improvised on things? | |
